Assumptions
- The compression is treated as incompressible. Once the pressure rise passes a few percent of the inlet pressure (blowers, compressors) a compressible calculation is needed.
- The flow is at OPERATING conditions. If given in normal cubic metres it must be converted first; on hot flue gas the difference can be a factor of two.
