Assumptions
- This is the FUEL cost only. Water, chemicals, electricity, maintenance and depreciation are excluded; the true steam cost is higher.
- Saturated steam is assumed at the boiler outlet. Producing superheated steam needs more energy and costs more.
- Blowdown loss is not included here; read it alongside the Blowdown Rate calculation.
